Обещают "3 в 1": высокое разрешение, ДД и ИСО.

Вот только когда и как это выльется в новую зеркалку и будет это кроп или ФФ, понять трудно...

Одна фраза из анонса очень настораживает:

Что бы они из него не сделали, похоже все равно стоит покупать... очень порадует если будет зеркалка - полнокадровый или нет, все равно будет замена моему D-200. А если компакт с расширетым ДД - тоже в поездках пригодится... будем ждать! Интересно к Рождеству реальную камеру сделают?

The premium-grade compact that will first use the technology will let users choose which mode the sensor operates in, though there will also be an automated mode that predicts which mode is needed, when the shutter is half-pressed.

Fujifilm will not be applying the technology to larger chips, though. "From a business point of view, compacts are most important to us," said Nishimura: "and the technology is designed to address the challenges faced by small sensors. It could, technically be scaled up to APS-C size but the large pixels of those chips already have good performance."
