Nikon has announced the AF-S Nikkor 28mm f/1.8 G, a fast wideangle lens for full frame SLRs such as the D800. It uses two aspherical elements in its 11 element / 9 group construction, along with Nano Crystal Coat to combat flare and ghosting. It can also be used on DX format cameras, giving a 42mm-equivalent 'normal' angle of view. It will be available from the end of May 2012 at a guggested retail price of $699.95.

На русском применительно к диафрагме я такое действительно слышу впервые.

Я вот тоже впервые слышу о "быстрой диафрагме"

Даже в английском, слово "fast" применяется к оптике в целом ("fast lenses"), а не к одному из её компонентов.



Так что нашим переводчикам очередной заслуженный минус - за столько лет даже буквально перевести не в силах.

Впрочем, им это как слону дробина...
